GCTV Events: GCTV Open House 12-6-09 held during Grafton Celebrates The Holidays!

It was Grafton Celebrates the Holidays time again on December 6th, 2009, which means a GCTV Open House! GCTV was open to the public from 12 - 4 pm on Sunday, December 6th for tours, equipment demos, meet and greets with the staff, and to allow families to make video messages to send to their loved ones across the country and overseas as part of the GCTV Military and Holiday Messages Programs. Grafton residents were welcome to bring a blank DVD or VHS tape and record a 5 - 10 minute message to send to distant family members or to Military Personnel serving overseas. (For more info about the GCTV Military and Holiday Messages Programs, please click here.) Refreshments were provided by Charter Communications. Here are some pictures of the annual Holiday event.

The GCTH Frosty Stop sign was posted outside the GCTV Studio to let residents know we were a part of the festivities.

These 2 little girls made a Holiday video message to send to their father.

Here's what their video looked like when a background was added with Chroma Key!

Here the girls' grandfather chats with GCTV's Bill Robidoux.

GCTV staff members Rick Schultze and Danielle DeLucia finalize the DVD for the girls and their mom.

2 Grafton boys experiment with the Chroma Key during the Open House.

Rick Schultze gives the boys' mom a tour of our facility.

A Grafton mom and daughter stopped in to make a message to send to family members across the country.

Recently married GCTV producers Leah Prouty-Muller and Rob Muller stopped by to visit during the event.

The Grafton News' Editor Don Clark paid GCTV a visit during the Open House as well- here he is with Rick Schultze in the Red Room.
